Friends of the Library

Why join the Friends?

Since 2005, The Friends of the Crittenden County Public Library organization has been active in supporting the library. What started with thirteen people meeting to talk about how they could help the library soon grew to 90+ members by the fall of 2005. The list of charter members may be seen in the meeting room.

Fast-forward to 2025 - WHY join the FOCCPL?

As a member of the Friends of the Crittenden County Public Library, you play an important role in ensuring the community support that grows a public library into the future. Your donation helps fulfill the mission of the library, funding programs that increase public access to all the library offers. Books and DVDs, free computer access and training, seminars and lectures, and family-friendly entertainments are only part of what you can help provide. You help make the “extras” possible, especially for the children.

Your Donation Helps

  • Year round reading programs for all ages
  • Prizes, event costs and decorations
  • Author visits

Friends of the Library Help With Special Projects:

Your membership is vital to our success. We are a support organization providing fundraising for an exempt organization as defined under KRS 173.310, a public library in the State of Kentucky; EIN 61-0599564.
