June 6th: “Theatrical Deceptions” Kickoff with Reed Masterson at Fohs Hall
Join us at Fohs Hall for a special program for the whole family! Reed Masterson is a Nationally Touring, Award-Winning, “Modern Day Illusionist”, who brings a whole new meaning to the term Magic Show. With his Signature Rockstar Style, and “Larger than Life Personality” in high demand, he spends more time on stage than off. He’s performed for numerous celebrities, has been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, THE CW, and even performed for a studio audience of 1,000 during the filming of an A&E television special. Reed will perform his show “Theatrical Deceptions” for us at Fohs Hall. June 6th at 3:00 p.m.
June 13th: Camping Skills with Troop 3030
Learn about knot-tying and tent-pitching from the Boy Scouts of Troop 3030! The Scouts will also talk about appreciating and respecting nature.
June 20th: Pollinator Games— It’s National Pollinators Week!
Where would we “bee” without pollinators? Discover the science behind pollination with a “cheesy” game, and then create a bee-dance code to communicate a message about where all the best flowers are– without using words!
June 27th: “Wild Partners” by the Woodlands Nature Station
We are so excited to welcome our friends from the Woodlands Nature Station back to the library! Meet some live animals like Rose the screech owl, and learn about friendships in nature.
July 20: End of Summer Reading Party & Prizes 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Library
Did you attend programs with us at the library and return your reading trackers? Celebrate with us at a party for super readers! Games and snacks will be provided.
Kids Maker Days (Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. @ CCPL)
June 8th: Kindness Quilt
This collaborative creative project will kick off our summer of fun! Work together to create a “Kindness Quilt” by using yarn to weave your part– everyone’s creations will be added together and our quilt will be displayed in the library all summer.
June 15th: Camping Lantern and Camp Stories
Make a lantern out of recycled materials, and then gather around the “campfire” for campfire stories!
June 22nd: Pollinator Plant Seed Bomb
Make and take a “seed bomb” using recycled materials! Plant it at home or give it as a gift– when planted, these seed bombs will produce flowers that pollinators love.
June 29th: Friendship or Survival Bracelets
Choose to create either a friendship bracelet or a paracord survival bracelet. Listen to books about friendship and teamwork.

Learn about the process of making paper, where the art originated, and different materials used. Paper made today will be used to make the Nature Log on Thursday.

Learn about the natural treasures hiding in plain sight all around you!
July 25 @ 2:00 pm Dungeons & Dragons
Love Dungeons and Dragons? Have never played but are interested in trying it out? Join us at the library for a “one-shot” campaign. Create a character and choose your adventure.

Learn about the night sky with constellation luminaries! Make a constellation lamp to take home.
